If you have visited the site over the last few days, you might have noticed things look a little bit different around here. Okay, they look a lot different.
I have been working away in the background for a while now on a complete refresh of the Bear Sites brand. It is not just a fresh coat of paint, though. It is about making everything easier, friendlier, and faster for the businesses I work with.
Here is a quick look at what has changed and why it matters to you.
Meet Bjorn
The biggest change is the new face of the business. I wanted a logo that felt approachable, personal, and a bit more memorable. That led to the creation of my new mascot, Bjorn the Bear. You will be seeing him popping up around the site and in my blog posts, usually giving a thumbs up or pointing out something useful.
To match Bjorn’s friendly vibe, I have also ditched the darker colours for a new, lighter, and much more welcoming colour palette. It feels cleaner, brighter, and just a nicer place to be.
Faster and smoother
I always tell my clients that website speed is vital, so I had to practice what I preach. I have completely rebuilt the Bear Sites website from the ground up to be lightning fast.
You will not find any clunky, heavy effects here. I have focused on using subtle animations that make the site feel professional without slowing down the loading times on your phone.
New Ways to Work Together
I know that big upfront costs can sometimes be a barrier for small businesses getting online. To help with that, I have introduced brand new web design plans, including a flexible pay monthly option to help spread the investment.
I have also revamped my maintenance plans. These are designed to give you total peace of mind, knowing your site is secure, backed up, and updated without you ever needing to lift a finger.
The Client Portal and Blog
To make communicating and managing projects smoother, I have launched a new Client Portal. All new clients will get access straight away to view invoices and project details, and I will be moving some existing clients over if necessary soon too.
